Autumn 2021 is diverse and colorful for the Institute as autumn leaves.
In September and October 2021 we:
with the greatest pride in one of Ljubljana's API kindergartens, Kindergarten Pedenjped, performed by professionals Polona Gačnik and Brigita Trop, under the mentorship of the professional head of the pedagogical program API kindergarten Nina Ilič, won excellent 2nd place in the International Bee Rotary Fellowship, led by Matej Vošner.
We are proud to continue our cooperation with the Municipality of Ljubljana in the international project BeePathNet - reload. The professional head of pedagogical API programs, Nina Ilič, in cooperation with mag. Maruška Markovčič, Municipality of Ljubljana and other stakeholders (Vesna Erhart and Ema Šobak, Ekometer; Luka Sešel, Municipality of Ljubljana; Klemen Strmšnik, Zavita; Branka Trčak, Municipality of Ljubljana; and others) in the presentation of the API pedagogical programs and the Melliferous educational garden, was excellently assisted by Terra apis volunteer, beekeeper Dejan Ilič.
proudly cooperated with the Pedagogical Institute of the Republic of Slovenia at the 6th scientific conference "Research in education: Distance learning and teaching - experiences, problems, perspectives", organized by the Pedagogical Institute, SLODRE and CMEPIUS in September and at which the professional head of pedagogical API programs Nina Ilič presented her two papers. The joint professional contribution will be published in a monograph to be published in the Digital Library of the Pedagogical Institute in September 2022.
organized a open days and an API workshop on the topic of bee venom - an aspect of the safety and usefulness of bee venom in apitherapy at the Melliferous educational Garden on Grba in cooperation with Maruška Markovčič and Meliha Dizdarević, Municipality of Ljubljana. Open days and API workshop were led by beekeeper and apitherapist Nina Ilič.
in cooperation with the Municipality of Ljubljana, contributed to the Nature Health 2021 Fair with a lecture "Etiquette of good behavior near bees", implementation: Nina Ilič.
in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport and the Municipality of Ljubljana, successfully organized and carried out the fourth professional training API kindergarten. This year, the lecturer of the Eneja Institute, Nina Ilič, was joined by seven other lecturers (assistant principal, counselor and educators) from six Ljubljana API kindergartens: Tjaša Brodnik (Jelka Kindergarten), Ina Stojanović (Oton Župančič Kindergarten Ljubljana), Eva Špenko (Miškolin Kindergarten), Jasmina Kumar (Hans Christian Andersen Kindergarten), Tadeja Kosec (Ledina Kindergarten), Samuel Kranjc and Mateja Funkl (Galjevica Kindergarten).
in cooperation with Maruška Markovčič, Municipality of Ljubljana, started a series of trainings for beekeepers working with children. The co-creator of the education program and lecturer is apitherapist Nina Ilič.
in collaboration with Cristina Matiescu, Apimondia, President of the Slovenian Beekeepers' Association Boštjan Noč and his colleagues Andreja Kandolf and Nataša Lilek; Stefan Stangaciu, Romanian Apitherapy Society and Apitherapy section of Beekeeping Association of Maribor, organized a three-day international conference “Apitherapy for Children”, which certainly left long-lasting and deep traces. The conference was attended by many renowned experts in various fields from around the world.
